Perry`s Steakhouse and Grill in Houston

My friends and I were here for dinner and everything was good. We all had steaks, some Brussels sprouts, lobster mac and cheese, the steak fries, and the corn. Pretty pricey, but sometimes you just gotta treat 'cho self. I knew what I was getting myself into when I went there. Anyway, I hear their pork chop is to die for.. so I'll have to try to go there for lunch some time. Great place for a date, too. Ambiance is good. You're also paying for a good experience, so that's definitely a factor in the price, I guess. Overall, would try again in the future of there is ever an occasion.

The food was fantastic. The service not so much. Our waitress was very unfriendly. No sweet tea here. You will find Coke products here. Sometimes if you go on a Friday at lunchtime it is so noisy and crowded it is like eating in a cafeteria -not fun.

Had the pork chop special for lunch. It was huge, tender and moist. It came with a large mound of whipped potatoes and applesauce for $16! Their bread appetizer was crunchy on the outside, warm and moist on the inside. Service was fantastic. There was no wait. Tables were spread out more than 6 feet. Servers and hosts were all wearing masks. Everything looked clean.

Simply amazing. Words cannot describe anything they do but ESPECIALLY their famous pork chop.

It was our first time being here and we enjoyed every minute of it. It was our anniversary and we went to have lunch there. We started off with fried calamari which was really flavorful and a little spicy. Then we order their well known pork chop special, omg this was huge and delicious, along with it we order Mac and cheese and sprouts. We had so much food but who doesn’t love dessert especially on a special occasion. We ordered the white chocolate cheese cake and along with it, they gave us a complementary trio dessert. All the staff was very nice and friendly. Samantha our waitress was very helpful and nice. She made our lunch very special. We will definitely be back to try a steak more calamari and dessert! Went for a business lunch and the Friday pork chop. Place is nice, service is good, but very average chop, it was very dry. You could tell it was about turnover on the table rather than traditional high end service that Perry’s is known for. Hey, at $14 a chop, I get it. But, keeps it from 5 stars. IMO, the Champions location is better.

It was okay ..... I wasn't feeling my best to enjoy it as much as I could have considering I was under the weather. The food was wonderful and very enjoyable.

We have been to Perry's few times before for Friday's porkchop lunch deal only. This time we went there to celebrate Valentine's Day and we were very impressed by quality of food. We ordered from set menu and both sets came out great.

Great service besides the waiter over quoting a wine bottle price and getting rare chops when I ordered medium rare. The happy hour menu is nice, but they only serve happy hour in the bar area so don't miss out! You can actually order drinks and appetizers from the bar at happy hour price and bring it to the dining table if you want. Avoid the dessert trio, it's tiny. Get the bread pudding, it's more than enough to share for 4 people.

Awesome service and beautiful restaurant. The steaks are amazing as well as the pork chops. This time I added some king crab legs, which were awesome as well. Only $4 to valet, and available to book on OpenTable, this place is one of our faves.

The food was amazing. We did wait a long time to get our order but the waiter named Josh was totally awesome and the Manager named Michael McDonald was amazing, They made our night feel special with great service. I hope to come back again. Thanks for everything.

Took two of my closest friends here for theirs BDays and just to catch up..! RSVP for a quiet table in the back left section. It was a good spot to carry a conversation & not missing out the scenery and ambience. Miles was awesome, friendly, funny and very knowledgeable of the menu and the wine list. My buddies had a great time and enjoyable experience! Request for Miles if you are there!

Had the pork chop bites and the steak. VERY delicious pork chop bites, I had the pork chop main dish as well, it was pretty much the same thing without the fairly dry cut on the main dish. Overall, I would order the pork chop bites again, probably not the main pork chop dish though. Steak was just like any other steak place, nothing too stellar, didn't come with sides.... so the price was a little astronomical for how the steak presented itself.

Food was very good and large portions and excellent service, well worth the price.

Going to Perry's during COVID was really great!! We made a reservation for a Saturday for 6:30pm. We were greeted at the door. Everyone had their mask/ gloves on. We were seated at our table quickly. Every customer in the restaurant was spaced out. The restaurant provided paper menus. I also witness the servers cleaning and santizing the table and chairs once a customer was done dining. Everything was replaced ex: table clothes)and sprayed done. Server was wonderful and food and drinks were awesome. My experience at this restaurant was wonderful.

I’m quite surprised at how poor the food was this past Valentine’s Day. The servers and atmosphere were fine as usual, but to my surprise the food was almost inedible. First, my partner’s steak was served to her cold. That is not a hyperbole. The steak was in fact, cold. To make amends, the steak was reheated and served to her well done. She asked for medium well initially. I ordered the Perry’s famous pork chop expecting the same great quality as always. However, my pork chop was warm, and tasted as if it had been prepared hours if not a day, in advance. To top it off, the sides I ordered never came. I certainly do not mind paying $150 for a my partner and I to enjoy Perry’s on it’s best day, for Valentine’s Day this was a remarkable let down. Soured the entire night.

I don’t know if they were overbooked or what. I had a reservation early in the night (7pm) and still had to wait 20 minutes for my table. By the time I left the restaurant was packed wall to wall with people - the lobby, entrance, doorways, and even outside by the Valet parking. It was like squeezing through a bar in college. Other than that the experience was great!

Upon entering the restaurant the employees were helpful and friendly ~ the atmosphere is cozy with an upscale vibe but a down home feel ~ the food is wonderful ~ thanks to Tom (manager) for problem solving the situation that happened

The food was delicious. I had the lamb chops, very succulent. My boyfriend had the pork chops. I'm still thinking about the pork chop, just delicious and huge. If he couldn't eat it all, you know its a big chop. Everything was fine

Same amazing Perry's even during the pandemic. The food and drinks were great as was the service. Because of Covid, valet parking is unavailable and tables socially distanced. They are also set up for pick-up orders if you are not comfortable dinning in.

Exceptional service and delicious food! I booked this venue for our staff Christmas party of 50 people. From start to finish, everything was handled by Perry’s with great ease. Everyone raved about the experience. It was personally my first visit to Perry’s, so I had the wedge salad and pork chop because several friends told me it was to die for. I’ve never had such either of those food items taste so delicious! Alexandra Johanning is the Sales Manager. She made it all possible! Superb experience! Thank you so much! (Just a heads up, the pork chop is HUGE and even though people told me it was great, it was even better than expected!)

If you want a high end quality steak this is where you should go. My husband had the NY strip. It melted in your mouth. I always have to get the pork chop. It is a high portion you get so I ended up taking half home. The staff really treats you well. We were celebrating our anniversary and told them when I made the reservation. They decorated our table with rose petals and treated us to complimentary dessert. I would say collared shirt for men, and nice blouse and shoes for women for dress code. We will come back for future celebrations.

I always receive excellent service when dining in, so my coworkers and I decided to place an order for pickup for our lunch on 7/17. Normally for our large orders, restaurants will forget to give us a side dish or two, but Perry’s got everything correct. The food was still warm when I got back to work, and everything was delicious.

Came to this location even made a reservation for my friend birthday waiting and waiting 30 min and still nobody came. We just end up leaving and going some where else. Other then Brittney that took my phone to make my reservation was super sweet.

I have extreme allergies to lemon/lime and shell fish. Ryan would keep open lines of communication between they kitchen to insure us to enjoy this beautiful evening. The ahi tuna and pork chops where succulent. A BIG TEXAS THANK YA'LL. Wish I could give more stars.

Great place. Nice variety in the menu, awesome service and food. Pork chops and Brussels sprouts were the best you'll have. The steak wasn't unfortunately and that's why the overall experience is a 4 star one. Steak has to be perfect at these places
